Since its creation in 1919, CTM (Compagnie de Transport au Maroc) has been accompanying Morocco through the successive transformations that the country has had over its history and contributes to its development by breaking down distances, bringing together citizens and making remote areas accessible. Looking at CTM history is also looking at our country’s industrial and economical history.

In tune with its time but also very avant-garde, CTM was the first Moroccan company to go private in 1993, at the same time as it was introduced on the Casablanca stock exchange.

Today, it is a modern company serving its client and facing new challenges notably ecological, economical and social.

1919 : Creation of the Transport and Tourism Company
1969 : Fusion of CTM with National Lines (ex Valenciana created in Tetouan in 1931). Together, the group expands its network throughout the Kingdom
1993 : CTM goes private and is introduced to the Casablanca Stock Exchange
2000 : Creation of two branches, CTM Freight and CTM Tourism
2003 : Creation of the personnel transportation through the branch “ISSAL”. ISO 9001-2000 certification for the CTM Freight branch
2007 : Establishment of a Quality Management System for all the CTM activities, in compliance with ISO 9001-2000 norms
2009 : CTM 90st anniversary
2012 : Implementation of new information system: online payment, automated operating system (Global Positionning System, traceability etc.)
2014 : Launch of a new luxury Premium bus service
