The Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association was established on the 16th of March 1999. It is the association of all pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Ghana. Currently, there are 32 members of the association.

To establish a modern and sustainable pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in Ghana, which enables people to have equal and early access to the best and safest medicines, which are manufactured locally, ensures the highest security of the medicines supply chain and also contributes significantly to economic growth.

使命：

To promote pharmaceutical manufacturing in Ghana, by creating a favourable economic, regulatory and political environment, that enables the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry to meet the growing healthcare needs and expectations of the nation in particular and the international community in general.
